15 Years of Granting Wishes with Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee

PARKS and Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee have been granted wishes for over 15 years
There is nothing more joyous than making a child smile, and the agents at PARKS know this feeling quite well.

Since the inception of Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee in 2000, PARKS has been honored to be a corporate sponsor of the local Make-a-Wish chapter. Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee grants the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions, with the goal of providing hope, strength and joy.

As part of a continuous effort to help local children and benefit Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee, PARKS established an Ambassador Program. This intiative is championed by select agents within each PARKS office across Middle Tennessee. PARKS agents hope to raise a collective $22,500 among all offices in 2015. In addition to our workplace giving to Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee, donations made through the transactions of buying and/or selling homes are also contributed.

Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee hopes to grant 142 wishes to local children this year, and PARKS will continue to help the chapter reach their goal in 2015.

“Causes that benefit children have always been a top priority for our company. That is why we are active in adopting schools, participate in building community playgrounds, and donating our time and resources to the children and families of Middle Tennessee” Bob Parks stated.

In addition to volunteering for and donating to Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee, PARKS is also active in local charitable organizations such as the Tennessee School for the Blind, Habitat for Humanity, Peterson Foundation for Parkinson’s, and Christmas for the Children (a charity started by the flagship Bob Parks Realty over 20 years ago).
